Ava Pawling

Ava Pawling, Great-Great-Granddaughter of Garth Pawling, was sent to live with Garth years after Stratton had stayed with him. Garth, while remaining an old bastard, didn't seem to age past the oldness he had reached. He treated his own blood no different than he had Jace Stratton when the 11 year old boy arrived on his doorstep, which is to say Ava had to earn her way. Pawlings didn't give handouts.
She too learned how to fix ships up. She had an androgynous appearance, easily able to pass for male or female depending on how she let her dress accentuate her look. When she matured she found that sex could be ever more useful than knowing how to fix a fusion reactor. After all, if you fuck a fusion reactor company producer, you could just get your hands on a new one. Ava used her looks to her advantage to seduce people of both sex, or even orientation. Acting came natural to her and she could hoodwink anyone. There was a time that she acted as a male to seduce a homosexual diplomat to get access to his files for a local thug lord. Even naked in the dark the man couldn't tell the difference, though she did have to stop him from trying to reach to finish her off.
Once she became more trouble than she was worth and Garth wanted to get her out of his hair, he called in a favor to Jace to put her in his employ. She was the first to befriend Cutler, helping to keep up maintenance on his biotic limbs.
Positives: Mechanical skill & great in the arts of seduction/acting (good infiltrator)
Negatives: Headstrong and cocky
Dan Holmes

Danielle hates her name, so she chopped it off to Dan.
Born of a mother raped by wealthy merchants, she was angry before even coming out of the womb. Her mother had been married to a pirate previously, one who was involved in one of the biggest ship robberies at the time. While he was off in hiding, the merchants who had been targeted sought out loved ones of those who had done them wrong. Dan's mom had written down each of the men's names, she knew their faces from the holograms in the news.
It was a list of seven men. Dan had tracked and killed two of them, the other five were on the to do list. Until then she is under the employ of Captain Jace Stratton as a hired gun. She isn't much of a sexual creature, too many feelings of inadequacy have stopped her from ever losing her virginity, but Jace has been good to her. She would die for him.
Positives: Great with weapons
Negatives: Mentally troubled: The rape left her mother mentally unstable and she was raised in the household for years before being taken away into foster care
Clink

Clink is a cyborg AI that Captain Stratton recovered off of a . . . nearly derelict spacecraft. A few hostiles were on board, having already killed the crew that were transporting multiple AI units to a Federation Space Station where they were to be used for procedural office duties. Programmed with high intelligence to be capable in both office and general maintenance work aboard a ship or space station, they could come in use. Unfortunately only a few models were salvageable from the wreckage the ship had become, and only one survived. Clink has since been modified by tech expert Rikkard van Zandt for multiple tasks, including piloting and combat.
The cyborg exists as a double for multiple people's role aboard the ship, so there is someone to cover a work area in case a casualty occurs. The battle seems to have damaged Clink a little bit in the personality department, as an AI he was programmed to have a personality. Clink typically appears as an emotionless robot, but occasionally has fits of emotion. He is also the janitor of the ship.
Positives: Jack of all trades
Negatives: A little buggy at times from the hit he took to the circuits from his birth ship (Zandt is working on fixing it, but the wiring is very intricate and he keeps pushing it off, claiming that a few bugs are nothing)
van Zandt

Rikkard van Zandt was dishonorably discharged from his post aboard an Alliance ship as Chief Engineer for fucking the wrong guy's daughter, since then he has what he calls a 'bad wrap' since he is on the intergalactic sex offender list. A high ranking general in the Humanitarian Alliance Fleet brought his daughter, a 16 going on 30 year old, to station with him. van Zandt will fuck anything with a big set of tits, and she had plenty to offer with the boob job her father provided for her. He refused counsel and defended himself in the military court room, trying to argue the father's own sexual enhancement of his daughter for his favor, along with her statement to him that she was 28 not 16. The general pulled the political strings and got him canned. So, being a pirate was really the only profitable job he could find to still put his technological capabilities to use.
Other than being the engineer of the ship, he dabbles in all sorts of technology, loving to learn how anything works. He loves all forms of technology, especially video games. He is almost obsessive about them.
Positives: Tech skills
Negatives: Isn't much of a fighting man, he'd rather retreat and live to fight another day
