Name: Daron Cutler
Age: Prefers not to say
Sex: M
Character
Story: Daron Cutler was born as part of a human slave labor camp, condemned to work in the mines from his birth. He showed a promising intelligence, the mine manager [Jinra Cahh] realized this, so he fostered this and trained Daron to run the place after him. Cutler reminded him of the children he had lost in his service to the corporation that had placed him to watch over the mining project. The planet, Ogsmund, was devoid of life other than monstrous creatures in the wastes that would attack the mine from time to time. There was a small city, off limits to the laborers, where modern culture existed, including a small civilization of nobles. Nobles who had been outcast from other planets.
Jinra became attached to the boy, presenting him in the city as his own son, letting him go back and forth secretly from the mine camp to the city. He studied about the galaxy with an outcast who had once been a professor, devouring the knowledge. Cutler's parents and the others at the mine were jealous of his treatment, but also looked at him as their only hope of escape. Jinra expected Cutler to take over for him once his time was over in this universe. Daron could give a shit less about any of them.
He sat on this rocky, barren planet stuck with what he considered fairly useless beings other than his teacher he had met. Cutler played everyone's emotions to his personal gain, organizing a mine riot, herding some of the waste beasts into tearing down the cities barricades. Mass murder, pillaging, and rape of all forms took place. In the chaos, Daron Cutler hijacked a ship and made it off the planet. He had no idea what happened to his parents or his would-be father Jinra. His teacher had died in the riots, the one person he wanted to come with him, but he never had time to feel sorrow. There were worlds out there to be explored.
Becoming a member of the humanoid elderly is within his reach now, but Cutler is still close enough to young to be perceived as a man in his prime, albeit it nearing the peak. To go through his whole history would be insane. His analytical mind and ways make any encounter he has a special one. Knowledge is something he always seeks, always curious to see how people will react under different circumstances. His manner of dress is that out of the history pads, like an old time Earth native from hundreds of years back. It makes him stand out.
Throughout his life he has paraded as many things. A smuggler, a soldier, a thief, and an artist. He has a way with words, they flow out his mouth as water flows through the stones of a waterfall. Soft and smooth at first, with a hard hit at the bottom. A run in with a chaotic [large] Gorgerian left him minus two legs at the knee and a right arm, which have since been replaced with biotic implants. Following this he holds a hatred for the race, though he finds his new limbs quite useful. In fact, he was almost tempted to just have his other arm chopped off to replace it with biotics, but he has quite the sentimental attachment to body parts that have not actually been devoured.
Despite his roguish past he did get the ultimate job he was suited for, being a diplomat working on Human-Suvian relations. Cats had been a favorite pet for the human races for centuries, it was only natural to try and work out a mutually beneficial relationship with the Suvians. They were one of the races that, while still quite different, were more humanoid than the rest, and more than just in appearance. The Anunn's were stuck up pricks, the Reticulans were drones, Gorgs were savages, and the list of less flattering creatures goes on. Cutler momentarily ruined relations when he seduced a Suvian leader's mate. The Suvian was one of the highest of esteem among his people, and with the male telepathic link, an instant hatred across galaxies spread for Cutler. He was fired and his reputation was ruined, but if you ask him the sex was worth it. Plus every headstrong female Suvian was intrigued as to why their female counterpart risked her own reputation by sleeping with Cutler, which helped him whenever he wanted a piece of Suvian ass.
He found his way on Captain Jace Stratton's ship. Jace finds him useful and would put him in charge of things, but is not quite sure if Cutler is to be trusted. Therein lays the Cutler dilemma; useful but unpredictable.

Appearance:

Writing Sample: Cutler is a strategic, careful man. As he makes each and every move if one were to look into his eyes, they would see stillness. In reality, the mind behind those orbs is churning at a pace faster than the strongest Suvian telepathic connection. Relying on strength or weapons is something Cutler feels as a weakness, they should only serve to accentuate a man. Using wit is the real way to get by.
As a studier of all the races he can seem to run into, he has a complex amount of feeling for all those surrounding him in the galaxy. Cutler can also be extremely cruel if someone isn't on his side. If there is no emotional bond or profit of some sort to be made from a being, he would sell them out at a moment's notice to further himself. Daron carries himself as if he were the Universes gift to all races. He is almost arrogant enough to actually believe that.

Equipment:-4 ft. carbon metal fighting staff disguised as a walking cane that extends in length and has a protrudable 4" blade at each end that can also be removed and used as a knife.
-His favorite weapon, the double barreled 10-44 Eviscerator. The name comes from the fact that, when firing this overpowered 2 shot energy weapon, you might take out anywhere from 10 to 44 lifeforms. Ammo is very expensive, luckily he knows black market dealers. Even so, the weapon is used sparingly.
-Standard reliable blaster pistol, modified with settings for single shot, semi-auto, and fully automatic.
