Pillars was sitting on my desk @ work for months as a loaner. Finally got to reading it while on leave and I'm still going. Loving it though. Have you read the one after Pillars, Jassy? I hear that is really good too.

So if I've watched True Blood, I can still read the books without too much spoilery spoilerness, SBC? Would love to
read them. I found with Dexter that I couldn't read after watching because the show kept to the first book fairly
closely.

I'd say it loosely follows the books. I am on the 5th book now and watching the second season. The first season was close to the first book but the show
did add a few things that so far don't exist in the book as well as leaving a couple things out. The second season is even more off the second book. I
find reading the books makes me more excited about the show because I want to see what they are going to use and what they aren't.

Star, I'm sooooo addicted to True Blood now it's all sorts of ridiculous. When it's not on, I miss it.
See, what a fricken spaz?! Looking forward to reading the stories though. I hear that Charlaine has quite the descriptive imagination when it comes to Eric's shenanigans. Hoo lawdie! I need a drink just thinking about it...

OOOOOOO, haven't read Bram Stoker in a while...I may have to go get a copy of that.
I just finished Christine Feehan's Dark Slayer. (Only soso, I'm beginning to think she's done all she can with the Carpathians, which will really annoy me because I want to see Skyler's, Dominic's and Zacharias' books!) I'm reading a Siloutte *spelling wrong I know* Nocturne book The Highway Man right now. It's ok. I've finished a couple of others, One of the Darkyn books (can't remember the title or author--Viehl I think) and a couple others. I've been sick so they're all running together. I want the new Sherrilyn Kenyon book, but have to wait until my money comes in from my Medical spending account! |

okieinsomniac wrote:I started reading it a long time ago and got like halfway through, but then for whatever reason never finished. Then, I was at Borders the other day and saw that Stoker's great-grandnephew wrote an authorized sequel, so I decided to go back and finish reading it. |
